Kartik Aaryan will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the ambitious venture Chandu Champion, to be directed by Kabir Khan. The film marks the first collaboration between the actor – director duo and audiences couldn’t be more excited about it. While we got a few glimpses of the avatar Kartik will be seen sporting in the film, including his lean body, on the occasion of India’s 75th Republic Day, the actor decided to give a treat to his fans by unveiling a new look – this time in his uniform! Kartik Aaryan unveiled a rather patriotic look on Friday, January 26 on social media wherein he is seen sporting an army uniform with a cap. He captioned the photo saying, “Being a Champion is in every Indian’s blood… Jai Hind ???? Happy Republic Day” and also hashtagged his film Chandu Champion. Gautham Menon comments on RRR for not being selected for Oscars

The  director Gautham Menon shared his ecstasy at the box office success of Simbu-starrer and he also spoke about RRR starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan and awards. It is known that Gujarati film Chhello Show is the official Oscars entry from India.  Many showed their disappointment directly on social media. Netizens and fans of RRR slammed the jury and opined that SS Rajamouli’s directorial venture was the best bet from India.

Gautham Menon said, “When we make the movie, we really don’t think about the awards. It is only when the film releases and people love the performance of the cast, that there is this discussion about the awards. A film is never made for an award winning performance, or, to get the best director award, it’s never made like that. We put what the movie/film deserves into it. That’s all it is.”

Gautham Menon also spoke about  RRR for not being selected for Oscars 2022, he said, “To answer your question, I don’t know if RRR is also Oscar material, honestly.

Gautham  Menon has won two National Awards, one as a director and another as a producer. On the work front, he has already started working on the sequel to Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.
