Kartik Aaryan will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the ambitious venture Chandu Champion, to be directed by Kabir Khan. The film marks the first collaboration between the actor – director duo and audiences couldn’t be more excited about it. While we got a few glimpses of the avatar Kartik will be seen sporting in the film, including his lean body, on the occasion of India’s 75th Republic Day, the actor decided to give a treat to his fans by unveiling a new look – this time in his uniform! Kartik Aaryan unveiled a rather patriotic look on Friday, January 26 on social media wherein he is seen sporting an army uniform with a cap. He captioned the photo saying, “Being a Champion is in every Indian’s blood… Jai Hind ???? Happy Republic Day” and also hashtagged his film Chandu Champion. It is known that Mike Tyson was involved in one of the most controversial moments in boxing history in 1997 when he bit the ear of Evander Holyfield during their second battle for the WBA world heavyweight championship. Earlier during an interview, Mike Tyson revealed that he bit Evander  Holyfield’s ear because he wanted to kill him at that moment.

Recently the makers of Liger officially confirmed that Mike Tyson will play a cameo in  the young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer much awaited movie Liger which is based on boxing.  A source close to the project Liger revealed that Puri Jagannadh’ directorial venture might have a special ode to the ear-biting moment from Mike Tyson’s 1997 fight with Evander Holyfield.

The sources added that there is talk that the makers of Liger might include a reference to the ear-biting episode in the film  starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday.  However, this is not the first time  the boxing champion Mike Tyson will be seen in a Hindi film. He had already essayed  a cameo in Firoz Nadiadwala’s Fool N Final  which was released in 2007.

For this upcoming action drama Liger, Vijay Deverakonda  underwent a physical transformation to play  the role of a boxer.
