Kartik Aaryan unveils NEW LOOK from Chandu Champion on the occasion of India’s Republic Day

Kartik Aaryan will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the ambitious venture Chandu Champion, to be directed by Kabir Khan. The film marks the first collaboration between the actor – director duo and audiences couldn’t be more excited about it. While we got a few glimpses of the avatar Kartik will be seen sporting in the film, including his lean body, on the occasion of India’s 75th Republic Day, the actor decided to give a treat to his fans by unveiling a new look – this time in his uniform! Kartik Aaryan unveiled a rather patriotic look on Friday, January 26 on social media wherein he is seen sporting an army uniform with a cap. He captioned the photo saying, “Being a Champion is in every Indian’s blood… Jai Hind ???? Happy Republic Day” and also hashtagged his film Chandu Champion. Samantha not ready to take risk?

Samantha Akkineni is coming up with her upcoming woman centric movie Oh Baby, the remake of Korean movie Miss Granny, which will be released during the world cup. Yesterday the makers of Oh baby released the first look poster of Samantha from Oh Baby, which grabbed several eyeballs. It is know news that Nandini Reddy brought actress Lakshmi to reprise the older version of Samantha in this film. Earlier it was heard that Samantha will be seen in two roles – as 20 years young lady and 70 years old woman. But later Nandini Reddy decided to not use prosthetic for Samantha and she bought another veteran actress Lakshmi on the board to play the role of old Samantha. It seems Samantha was not ready to take the risk to essay the role of old granny.

Samantha is a versatile actress and she has already played variety of roles in her movies. But why is not essaying the older version of Samantha in this upcoming film Oh Baby? It is known news that Kamal Haasan used prosthetic makeup in Bharateeyudu and received lot of applause for his performance. Samantha will also have dare to use prosthetic for Oh Baby.

Directed by Nandini Reddy, and produced by Suresh Babu, Oh Baby is an official remake of the Korean movie Miss Granny. The original film Miss Granny also has two actresses playing the role of 74 year old and the 20-year old. Very Soon the makers will announce the release date of Oh Baby.
