Kartik Aaryan will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the ambitious venture Chandu Champion, to be directed by Kabir Khan. The film marks the first collaboration between the actor – director duo and audiences couldn’t be more excited about it. While we got a few glimpses of the avatar Kartik will be seen sporting in the film, including his lean body, on the occasion of India’s 75th Republic Day, the actor decided to give a treat to his fans by unveiling a new look – this time in his uniform! Kartik Aaryan unveiled a rather patriotic look on Friday, January 26 on social media wherein he is seen sporting an army uniform with a cap. He captioned the photo saying, “Being a Champion is in every Indian’s blood… Jai Hind ???? Happy Republic Day” and also hashtagged his film Chandu Champion. Ram Pothineni to take on Hyderabad mafiaThe talented and creative film maker Puri Jagannadh has been facing a lot of box office duds for the past few years. He is planning to make his strong comeback with his upcoming directorial venture iSamart Shankar in which young and energetic actor Ram Pothineni is playing the lead role. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Ram Pothineni will be seen playing police and rowdy in iSamart Shankar like Mahesh Babu in Pokiri.  Ram Pothineni will take on Hyderabad mafia in typical Telangana style.

The sources say that the storyline of iSamart Shankar is very close to Mahesh Babu starrer Pokiri, which was released in 2006. Directed by Puri Jagannad and co-produced by Manjula Ghattamaneni, in which Ileana D’Cruz, played the female lead role. In Pokiri Mahesh Babu played the role of  Krishna, a police officer, disguised himself as a thug and joined the mafia in order to enter the underworld and wiped it out.

Ram Pothineni will be seen romancing with Nidhhi Agarwal and Nabha Natesh in iSamart Shankar. Puneeth Issar, Milind Gunaji, Satya Dev and Ashish Vidyarthi will be seen in important roles. Mani Sharma is composing the music for iSmart Shankar.

 Few days ago, Puri Jagannadh released the first look poster in which Ram Pothineni was seen in a rugged but stylish makeover. The poster of the film also revealed the caption, Double Simcard. Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur are producing the project under Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies banner in association with Puri Connect.

CBFC clears Gadar 2 with UA certificate, the film is 170 minutes long

With the month of August starting today, the countdown for the release of Gadar 2 has begun. The film, which stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in pivotal roles, is all set to hit the screens on August 11, just four days before the big Independence Day holiday. With the release of the film nearing, some more details about the movie have come out. Veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh has revealed that Gadar 2 has been passed by the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) with UA certificate earlier in the day.
