Kartik Aaryan unveils NEW LOOK from Chandu Champion on the occasion of India’s Republic Day

Kartik Aaryan will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the ambitious venture Chandu Champion, to be directed by Kabir Khan. The film marks the first collaboration between the actor – director duo and audiences couldn’t be more excited about it. While we got a few glimpses of the avatar Kartik will be seen sporting in the film, including his lean body, on the occasion of India’s 75th Republic Day, the actor decided to give a treat to his fans by unveiling a new look – this time in his uniform! Kartik Aaryan unveiled a rather patriotic look on Friday, January 26 on social media wherein he is seen sporting an army uniform with a cap. He captioned the photo saying, “Being a Champion is in every Indian’s blood… Jai Hind ???? Happy Republic Day” and also hashtagged his film Chandu Champion. Samantha Favourite hero is Kangana Ranaut not Naga ChaitanyaKangana Ranaut starrer historic and war drama Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi , is running successfully at the box office. The movie was released on 25th January 2019, and competed with  Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Thackeray.  Number of celebrities have already showered their praises for the performance of Kangana Ranaut and now the name of South Indian actress Samantha Akkineni has also been added in the list.  According to Samantha, Kangana Ranaut is her favourite hero.

 Calling Kangana Ranaut her favourite hero, Samantha Akkineni wrote on her microblogging page, “Manikarnika Queen of Jhansi Kangana Ranaut the friekin queen of our hearts.. my havourite hero.”

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh updated the box office figures on Twitter. He wrote on Twitter, “#Manikarnika is decent on crucial Mon. Decline on Day 4 [vis-à-vis Day 1]: 41.71%… North circuits continue to lead… Week 1 should be close to ₹ 60 cr [as per trends]… Fri 8.75 cr, Sat 18.10 cr, Sun 15.70 cr, Mon 5.10 cr. On its opening day, Manikarnika earned  Rs 8.75  Cr.The film received good response in overseas markets during the weekend. Taran  Adarsh has also updated the overseas collections of the film in his tweet, “#Manikarnika crosses $1.55 mn [₹ 11.03 cr] from international markets… Key markets: North America: $ 559k UAE-GCC: $ 471k UK: $ 118k ANZ + Fiji: $ 137k North America and other territories still being updated. #Overseas.”

 It is known news currently Samantha Akkineni is also preferring performance oriented roles. Her previous offering the murder mystery drama U Turn, directed by Pawan Kumar was also woman centric movie and her performance was highlighted in the movie.  Finally with this post, it has been proved that Samantha’s favourite hero is Kangana Ranaut not her hubby Naga Chaitanya.

CBFC clears Gadar 2 with UA certificate, the film is 170 minutes long

With the month of August starting today, the countdown for the release of Gadar 2 has begun. The film, which stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in pivotal roles, is all set to hit the screens on August 11, just four days before the big Independence Day holiday. With the release of the film nearing, some more details about the movie have come out. Veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh has revealed that Gadar 2 has been passed by the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) with UA certificate earlier in the day.
