Kartik Aaryan will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar in the ambitious venture Chandu Champion, to be directed by Kabir Khan. The film marks the first collaboration between the actor – director duo and audiences couldn’t be more excited about it. While we got a few glimpses of the avatar Kartik will be seen sporting in the film, including his lean body, on the occasion of India’s 75th Republic Day, the actor decided to give a treat to his fans by unveiling a new look – this time in his uniform! Kartik Aaryan unveiled a rather patriotic look on Friday, January 26 on social media wherein he is seen sporting an army uniform with a cap. He captioned the photo saying, “Being a Champion is in every Indian’s blood… Jai Hind ???? Happy Republic Day” and also hashtagged his film Chandu Champion. Janhvi Kapoor to romance Vijay Deverakonda?Vijay Devarakonda who has delivered a series of hit movies like Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy, and currently enjoying the success of his recent offering Geetha Govindam, has now deiced to work with top production house. According to the latest update, Vijay Devarakonda will be next seen in Mythri Movies production venture, which will be helmed by a Tamil director. The source close to Vijay Devarakonda say that Geetha Govindam star has expressed his desire to romance to Janhvi Kapoor, the daughter of late actress Sridevi. The sources claimed that Vijay Devarakonda asked  the producers to approach Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor to play the female lead. The actor is confident that she will agree to romance with him . Let’s wait and watch, whether Janhvi Kapoor gives green signal for Vijay Devarakonda starrer or not.

 It is known news that Vijay Devarakonda starrer Arjun Reddy is being remade in Bollywood and Padmaavat star Shahid Kapoor is on the board to play the lead role. Recently the makers approached Tara Sutaria to reprise the role of Shailini Pandey but she walked away from the project due to date issue and later the makers brought Kiara Advani on the board to play the female lead. If the report is to be believed, Janhvi Kapoor was the original choice for the film. Apparently, Janhvi Kapoor was in talks with the makers, but dropped out on mentor Karan Johar’s insistence. Karan Johar suggested Tara’s name, who he thought was a better choice for Arjun Reddy but she also rejected the offer.

Janhvi Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Dhadak, which was hit at the box office. Meanwhile all eyes are on Vijay Devarakonda starrer upcoming bilingual drama NOTA, in which Mehreen Kaur Pirzada is playing the female lead and the movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 5th October.
